Unsatisfactory and unsecured storage facility

The cubesmart on S 6th Ave Tucson, Az is the most insecure facility i have ever seen. The gate is constantly broken.

The door to the hallway in which my storage unit resides is broken so that anyone can walk into it. Ivetold the sight manager several months ago. She only now claims to have a work order on for the door. And cameras were not working until recently?

That is totally unacceptable! Also, the walls between each unit is so flimsy that a padlock will not stop someone from actually breaking in. The manager of this facility has been notified of these problems and has only now claims to have reported them. Another client left a huge mess in front of my storage unit and the manager failed to clean it so that the next day i had to mop the floor myself.

She is incompetent and she uses her kids for child labor in doing the menial tasks that is HER job. Nepotism is illegal the last i checked. She has evicted me which is fine. I caused the reason for that and take full responsibility for that.

Bit in the process she has called me a liar in front of others and that is defamation of chatacter, I will not suffer. If she is not removed from her position, i will soon be filing a defamation lawsuit against cubesmart

Over payment

I always pay in the 28th of every month $204 last month I paid $204 on the 26th of October so yesterday I tried to pay my bill $204 and it showed a bill for $534 so I couldnt make the payment because because I always have $204 set aside for the 28th of every month I feel the people that work there want to take my storage for themselves it makes no sense my bill is $534 I couldnt pay that because Ive paying the $204 every month on the 28th so yesterday I couldnt pay the $204 because they increased it to $534 could someone please help straighten this out because Im not going to be taken advantage of I gat receipts for the days Ive made my payments I will report to the Attorney General and the better business Breau this so sad how people that work at the Harvey Illinois location try to swindle people out of there property

No management at 67203 location

I need help!!! This storage facility is so unprofessional, 1st NOT told about management takeover, so I couldnt pay online,, me and my mom who shares the unit went to the office 6 times and noone was there, then i was charged a lien fee, after finally staking out the office and having security called on us, the manger said we have to come back the next day.

After hours of arguing over lien fee it was finally removed. I paid my rent, set up my info to pay online, and now I'm not in the system!!! Repeat all but security and here I am again! I'm about to call KAKE ON MY SIDE, REPORT ALL OF THIS , GET AN ATTORNEY AND FIGHT THIS CRAP!!

VERY HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES, $72.00 IS MY RENT 92.00 WHEN LATE. I WILL PAY THE 92.00 AND I WILL MOVE OUT TODAY..

Problem with employee

I been a customer at Cubesmart for about 7 years or more I've never had a problem with any of the employees or staff. The employee in question has only been with the company for about 4 months.

I only enter acted with this particular employee when I needed to pay my bill. Just to note: I almost never pay my bill on time in witch all of the employees that has worked there over the years are aware of. Its never been an issue for anyone. I just pay the late fee and keep it moving.

I never had an employee make an issue about it or say anything disrespectful to me. I went to pay my bill on September 29th. As soon as the employee buzzed me into the office. Before I could even say hello to her ,she (keyanna) started talking at me about not having an attitude with her because I looked like I'm upset and she don't want to hear it.

I was sorta taken by surprise because I didn't quite understand where she was coming from. I sorta thought that she was joking. And I asked her if she was Ok. After I asked if she was okay, she started ranting a little more until I proceeded to cut her off and ask how much was my bill.

I was already locked out of my unit at this point and it was another charge of $110 that posted that very day. I had the $640.00 but I didn't have the $110 for the auction fee. It was close to the time that the office would close ( around 5:40 or so) so I knew that I would have to come back tomorrow. I informed her of this and she said ok she will be in the office around 8:30 am I said ok

At that point I I proceeded to ask her why did she talk at me like that when I first came into the office ?

She responded by saying that she didn't want to talk about it. I said excuse me? And then she asked me if I wanted to call corporate? And she repeated that statement about 3 times .

I Said "not really". And then she said "ok then." I was waiting for her to say that she was joking, but she never did. I returned the next day around 2:30 or so. I think that she was training a new employee.

She told the new employee to wait on me. The new employee took my payment and I told her that I needed her to unlock my unit. She told me to meet me at the unit and I did. After she unlocked my unit, I was about to go back to the office and discuss the incident that occurred yesterday with the employee in question .

I didn't want to address this issue in front of the new employee. Before I could get to the office Kiyanna was coming around yhe hall towards my unit and I asked her again what was the reason for her talking at me the way she did. She tried to act like she didn't know what I was talking about. At this point all three of us where about in a huddle .

I truly was trying to give her an out , if she would of said she was only joking or she had a bad day, I would have just left it at that. But instead she started saying that I can call corporate and that she doesn't want to talk to me. I asked her for the corporate number and she said go on line and get it. I told her that I was asking her for it and she said that she didn't have time at the moment because they needed to address some other issues.

I told her no problem and that I would be at my unit for awhile

I'll just stop in the office before I leave. I was parked right outside the office.

Before I left the new employee came outside and gave me a business card with Kiyanna new hand written on it and the customer service number on it . I called the number on the card and was not

able to reach an associate to discuss my grievance.

I have been paying on 2 units now for several months on first name basis with management I missed a payment when I was in the hospital came into the store to pay the payment on the smaller unit and was told it was up for auction on Saturday I was going to pay the bill until I was told they could not pop the lock as the keys are missing. Although it is in someone else's name the store knows that I am the one paying the bill but refuses to let me in .

I have no way of getting into touch with the person and she has not been around since the first payment. The manager was rude to me before when I lost the keys the other lady popped the lock no problem for me gave me new keys which were thrown out of the window when I wrecked my truck why is now this time she has to be present

Their customer service is non-existent. They keep upping the prices stating "upgrades to the facility" but how much can extra rat traps cost?

The elevator still closed every 6 seconds and lights stay on just a little longer than that. I called the facility requesting that they send a printed invoice so that others may send a check in my absence and I was told they want everyone to go online or use the app. And when I was telling him that as the customer I am requesting that and that he should not be talking over me, he hung up.

Of course, when I tried calling back he would not answer. As a long time customer (over a decade) I am pretty disgusted with this company.

My name is Patricia Western, I need to see if can get an extension on my storage until Friday. I just received a email stating that my storage will go on auction on tomorrow. I have been with CubeSmart since 2019. For the last couple of months I have been fighting breast cancer. In the process of going through this, I forgot about my storage. I had to pay medical bills. I'm back at work and don't get paid until this Friday. Can you please give me an extension until Friday full will be paid.

Figured while I wait bc I am locked in I write a review n give a suggestion! I was 3 mins after 10pm and gate access said "Denied late exit".

So I looked around for a # to call for assistance..nothing anywhere. Let me say this.. I've rented from many companies n have gotten caught after closing n have always been able to contact someone to open the gate. I'm flabbergasted beyond now bc it's been 1 hr and 3 mins since I got denied exit.

I've looked for help thru google and the app n found nothing. I've been on hold for 1hr and it says they'll save my place n call me back..everything else says its after hours call tomorrow. This is ridiculous. I even read all the terms n rules n policies and it says nothing about what to do or what happens if you got denied access to exit if after 10pm.

I've had a long day n just want to go home get a shower n go to sleep..its getting colder as the evening gets later. Maybe when they open at 6am theyll find me unresponsive bc I had to spend the night in my car, cold, thirsty n hungry behind the gate LOCKED in!

The same. Cube Smart is not going to take responsibility for anything concerning that building.If they were, they would have stepped up and seen to it that the cooking and smoking of *** was stopped and it wouldn’t have gotten to the stage setting up mold.This is why...

No definitely not. And I don't want to use any others they ALL have the same refusal of responsibility.Only if law's are put in place.You see them coming up all over the place because there not being held responsible for ANYTHING.

Well Self Storage Community of 3103 N Decatur Rd, Scottsdale, GA 30079. Its official because the Owner, District Manager or Management, has refused to adequately address and put a stop to the cooking and smoking of *** in the storage building Mold has started to set in.
Its possible it could be coming from the person with the abandoned car parked in the parking lot that someone has been living out of for the last 4-5 months, this was the time I started smelling it in the building and informed ALL of the above persons. Or the new manager because I have smelled the odor while he was present in the building as well.
Nerveless mold is starting to form and *** and or Crack is the fastest way to get it started. With that check youre belongs BECAUSE THINGS ARE GOING TO START TO MOLD.
Given the fact they have cameras this could have and should have been prevented. And there need to be laws so they could be held responsible.

Cube smart price increase ?

I called customer service through you guys. Bill, nice guy, told me there was an increase by all the storage companies. So yes, they increased my very subpar storage unit from $369 per month. Again, this is a non air controlled / outside unit. They are trying to charge me $436 pr month. Without a mask or a gun. This cant be legal. I was not notified at all. Definitely gown down swingin. Cube smart.

Despite my calls requesting interface with the district manager, attempts to email anyone at Cubesmart, and the review I left with pissedconsumer, I've gotten zero response from the company. Nothing.

My mom passed away and left me many of her beautiful belongings. I had to put them in storage until I could accommodate them in my home.

Since the items were extremely important to me, I chose climate control indoor storage at CubeSmart. Although I was told the unit was climate controlled, my items grew mold after 4months. I didn't discover this until they called to inform me that there was water coming out of the unit. They said flash flooding had occurred, but mold doesn't grow that fast.

Many of my items were waterlogged and damaged. Cubesmart wouldnt help with anything because they said the flooding had never happened to the facility before. That was the final straw, and I moved everything out 36 hours later. They will not refund me the remaining time on the storage unit.
I was already sour on CubeSmart by the time that happened.

These were the issues that occurred before the water and mold damage:
My rent was increased by $30 after 3 months but I was never informed.
The entire facility was unsecured for more than 5 weeks, although when I visited the unit, I was told the gate would be fixed "within 3-4 days". Anyone could walk in at any hour during those 5 weeks and it was still broken when I finally removed my belongings.
