A district Manager call me and ask bluntly what do I want and I said I should be reimbursed for what I paid to mover’s for the day they didn’t open and it was a weekday.And his response was no do whatever you want, they are truly a horrible business

Problem at Homestead, Fl location
I relocated from Maine in Nov 2022 and while looking for a house as a 100% service connected disabled veteran, I started renting unit 4009 at Homestead, Florida CubeSmart storage facility.
For a year, every time I go to the unit , I notice dirt/sand/dust all over my household items. I have been meaning to go to the office from the start to ask the reason for the dirt, but finally I made time to go after the office which raised the unit fee from $228 to $288 as of November.
One of the 2 women told me that their supervisor would be back on Oct 27th. and they said as an excuse for the dirt making into the unit, the location was old.
They would ask their supervisor the reason of excessive dirt and steep fee increase at that time and then she would contact me. As of Nov 4th., no one has contacted me.
User's recommendation: I do not have recommendation for future customers except to look for a clean units that does not collect dirt

I am still waiting for the little insurance check and I still have not received a phone call from CubeSmart. I have tried calling the district manager several times as well as texting him but to no avail. I went from having over 30 pair of brand new shoes and 8 storage...
So far CubeSmart has not reached out to assist me in any way however I was told not to come get my remaining stuff by the facility manager whom I am 99% sure is involved in my stuff being stolen. I returned to the facility one time to get some of my clothes and some...
I had asked the new manager 3 times over a 2 week period and even contacted corporate to have the lock removed and I couldn't get into my unit until after the cops responded and the manager had known for almost 3 weeks that my unit was broken into and no one contacted me even though I had been there 3 different times to try to get into my unit stoll he did not tell me anything. When I informed him that the cops were coming to the facility he had the pictures of the vehicle and tag number of the vehicle that stole my stuff. However he claims they never came into the building but I had not been there since 4/18 and I still have my keys that go to the damaged lock that was drilled out in order to access my unit. I'm so mad and I feel that the new manager was involved and I think I saw him staking my shoes into another unit after the cops left.
I want someone from corporate to call me because I couldn't even get the district manager to call me back and I feel as though filing a lawsuit is the only way to get the surveillance footage from inside the facility and get all of my stuff that was stolen replaced. I want corporate to contact me and they still have not.

Preferred solution: I want to be able to go get my stuff that wasn't stolen and I think CubeSmart should be responsible for paying for the reimbursement of my stolen property.

Evicted by an anonomous complaint that grew to 5 people saying I was living in storage unit. All the cameras and security gates codes to enter and exit prove ny innocense. No access to get my stuff .
Multiple complaints: False Eviction, Denied Access to Property (Gate Code) unit (Overlock) complaints are met with outrage, threats and kicked out. Told that they dont't give a *** about seniors, heat stroke, even witnessing near fainting of a senior verbal abuse cussing then kicked out of complain.
Vengefully and purposely blocked from retrieving property before auction. Viewed and commented about expensive items and even inquired if leaving the goods then cussed out and kicked out when I complained that I am only allowed hottest time in to get my property. Told to drop the hitch onto my rv and pull it out now which would render the rv as salvage junk unusable due to improper preparation as required for towing by manufacturer b because its half hour for manager to leave. Witnessed the cussing abuse to others and thought they were at fault or did really bad but it is standard practice.
He does not like sitting and waiting for people to pack. I had a steel 20 foot by 8 (1 car garage) given 25 minutes to get everything I needed. Then told I could only access and retrieve my full garage in one trip, 1 load in less than a days access period because a customer said I was living in the storage even with no evidence on cameras and every time I came in the exit gate shows my code leaving always before closing time. I was accused the first day I came back from a trip out of town!
Just kicked out and denied access to get MY property before they jeep it for auction. Their lock blocking my goods with all bills up to date and still in effect!

User's recommendation: If you read this, you were warned. Sorry about your luck. Prior injury on site with permanent damage and to my leg from tryng to. Take out my generator after over a month being broken and not being able to take everything down 2 steep flights of stairs not lit up to be locked in because I was late getting out the gate bot able to get to my car even to drive up tp it. Their compensation after many complaints was a discount on that months rent.
